 By getting to know them in advance, we can avoid being in a rush when we get to Thailand.

Immigration 24-hour Report (TM30)

For families studying abroad, they will need to stay in Thailand for a long time in the future. Therefore, it is essential 

to attach great importance to 24-hour reporting. They should promptly inform the hotel or landlord to help handle the 

24-hour reporting (TM30). In the future, proof of address will be an indispensable visa document.

Also, for tourist visas or those who have entered the country upon arrival and are preparing to apply for a visa extension, 

it is particularly important to pay attention to 24-hour check-in, as it will be needed for future visa renewals or extensions.

The immigration office processes a proof of address

The Residence Certificate is one of the essential documents for student families residing in Thailand for a long time.

 It is used for purchasing a vehicle, obtaining a driver's license, opening a bank account in Thailand, etc.

Required materials

1. 24-hour coverage TM30

2. Copies of the first page of the passport and the entry visa page

3. Original passport

Two 4.2-inch photos

5. Copy of the visa

6. Take the application form at the immigration counter and fill it out

7. Rental contract

8. A copy of the landlord's own identity

Apply for a bank card in Thailand

Required documents

1. Valid passports and visas

2. Proof of address

3. A deposit of around 2,500 Thai baht

4. School information

Student visas and accompanying study visas can be converted to one-year long-term visas

Both the student visa and the accompanying study visa applied for in China have a stay period of only three months.

 After arriving in Thailand, they need to be converted to a one-year long-term visa at the immigration office.

Documents required for student visa:

Original and photocopy of passport (valid for no less than 12 months)

2. Exit card and its copy (TM.6)

3. 24-hour report and copy (TM 30)

4. School information

5.1 Recent photos of the applicant, 4*6cm

Required documents for a NON-O visa: Convert a non-O visa to a one-year visa

An original and a copy of the passport valid for no less than 12 months

2. Application Form T.M.7(to be filled out by the immigration office) + one 4*6 photo

3. Original copies of the double certification of parent-child relationship (Remember to bring them back as they are needed every year)

4. The original medical certificate of the child's birth

5. A deposit certificate of 500,000 Thai Baht in a Thai bank account (for the first application, it should be deposited 

30 days in advance. For renewal in the following year, it must be deposited for at least 3 months.)

 A certificate of the day must be issued and there must be a transaction record.

6. Corresponding materials provided by the school

7. 24-hour report and copy (TM.30) fee: 1,900 Thai baht

Apply for a driver's license

Required documents

1. Health certificate (valid for 30 days) : No designated hospital. Bring your passport and inform the doctor to apply for a driver's license.

2. Residence certificate

3. Original driver's license

4. The first page and visa page of the passport

5. Original passport

6. Double certification of Chinese driver's license (certified by the Consulates between China and Thailand)
